“Gather My Fools”

Hey readers! Here’s another response to the dwindling few remaining Trifecta challenges. This week’s prompt was to write 33 words in response to the third definition of satisfy:

3a : to make happy : please

I have reworked a past haiku of mine, and wound up with the following piece. I hope you enjoy it!

Gather My Fools

Here, the fools gather, infused only with the need to satisfy their beloved. Atop her throne of blood and bone, she smirks. A single wave of her hand, and brutal death befalls them.
